GOING PLACES: FRANCE BOUND

Thursday, June 9, 2016

Happy Thursday!

Today, I have some exciting news. I've alluded to it in a couple of my recent posts, and most especially my post about graduating from DU.

This fall, I'm moving to France!

I'm going to be an English language assistant through TAPIF, a program of the Ministry of Education in France. I'll be teaching English in the Académie de Lille, in the Nord Pas de Calais near Belgium. Like, super northern France. I don't have my exact city placement yet, but I'll make sure to write all about it when I do!

After studying abroad in Caen, and doing research in France, and majoring in French, living and teaching in France just seemed like a logical next step. So that's what I'm going to do.

I have loved France for such a long time, and I'm so excited for this next step.

Read all about my adventures abroad here.

Thanks for reading! See you next week.
