I love Liebster Awards! The goal of A Liebster Award is to find new blogs with less than 200 followers. :) I was lucky enough to be nominated by Allison of The Ponytail Diaries and Selene of Everyday Selene! Thanks, lovelies!

Check out my first two Liebster Awards here and here.

Here are the rules for the Liebster Award:

1. Thank the person who nominated you and link to their blog!
2. Nominate 11 bloggers to receive this amazing award.
3. Answer the 11 questions from the blog who nominated you.
4. Give your readers 11 random facts about yourself.
5. Come up with 11 questions for your nominees!

11 Facts about Me:

1. I've probably mentioned this before, but I love elephants. Seriously. They're just so cute!

2. My favorite tea I have ever had is Mariage Frères' Earl Grey French Blue. I love Earl Grey tea in general, but the French Blue is just so amazing. I let my dad try one of the tea bags I brought home... huge mistake.

3. My favorite junk foods to watch Netflix with are Reese's and Pringles.

4. If the whole, being-a-historian-and-working-in-a-museum thing doesn't work out, Plan B is to open a bookstore. You've Got Mail is one of my favorite movies.

5. I love flowers, and my favorites are white Gerbera daisies, sunflowers, and tulips (all colors). I doodle daisies in my notes when I get bored.

6. My favorite dogs are French Bulldogs (they have the most adorable ears!) and if I had one I would name it Olivier or Olivia.

7. I have a thing for clocks. Super random, but I just think they're fascinating!

8. I have to write a Senior Thesis next year, and I want my topic to be about Amsterdam so I could possibly get research funding to go back to Amsterdam. I'm thinking something related to the Rijksmuseum during the Nazi Occupation during WWII?

9. My favorite pens are purple pens (purple is also my favorite color, along with turquoise). But I only use them on special occasions. :)

10. Joining a sorority was one of the best decisions I made in college. The others are joining the leadership program (PLP) and studying abroad in France.

11. The languages I want to learn next are Spanish, Dutch, and Arabic.

Questions from Allison:

1. What is your favorite thing about blogging?
I love the creative aspect of it. You always have to think in different and new ways to try and attract readers, as well as engage with your readers so it's fun to do that. I also love the community aspect of it, especially with different blogging networks, etc. It's always fun to make new blog friends!

2. Drink of choice after a long day?
Tea. My favorite is Earl Grey, but that has caffeine, so I could also go for some nice chamomile if it's right before bed.

3. If you had $10,000 that you had to spend all in one weekend, what would you do?
Go somewhere! Maybe Amsterdam, London, or Bayonne (in the Basque region of France). Alternatively, I would go to New York City! I've never been... and there are so many cool things that I would want to do. Plus, go shopping, obviously.

4. What was your favorite book you had to read in school?
Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston in AP Language.

5. Chris Hemsworth was named Sexiest Man Alive by People, do you agree or disagree? If you disagree you are dead to me who would you pick instead?
Agree - he is so attractive. And that man bun.... gah. But I also love British guys... so I would go for Benedict Cumberbatch or Tom Hiddleston.

6. What's your favorite thing about your best friend?
She's awesome. :)

7. Oh no, you broke your leg and are stuck on the couch all weekend! What are you watching on Netflix?
First, I would watch the entire 3 series of Sherlock as there are only 9 episodes. Then, I would watch Friends.

8. What's the biggest risk you've taken so far?
Studying abroad in France, in an all-French program.

9. What was the first concert you went to?
Big Head Todd and the Monsters with my dad at Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Favorite concert? Mumford & Sons at Red Rocks Amphitheater.

10. If you could see any significant historical figure first hand, what would you choose?
That's such a hard thing for a history major to choose! Right now I'm taking a class about the French Revolution, so I would like to see the Tennis Court Oath, just to see what it was like. But I would also want to see the signing of the Declaration of Independence (#americanhistorynerd).

11. What three posts of yours should new readers check out first?
Questions from Selene:

1. Why do you blog?
I love to write, and I want to be more creative. I have found blogging to be a great way to be creative and write about things that interest me, or that I'm thinking about, which I can't always do in school with my major.

2. If you had a wish, what would you ask for?
To have tea with Tom Hiddleston and talk about history, poetry, literature, and, of course, Loki.

3. Where do you see yourself in ten years?
Working at a museum, at a nonprofit, or in some type of creative setting.

4. What would you like to say to your readers?
Thank you for reading, supporting, and loving on my blog. It really does mean a lot when you take the time to read my thoughts, leave a comment, or shoot me an email. It really makes my day to know that someone, somewhere, cares enough to hear what I have to say. :)

5. Inspire your readers.
You know me, I'm a fan of quotes, and this is one of my favorites: "You are helpful, and you are loved, and you are not alone." (John Green).

You are loved, always, and you are not alone, ever. As cheesy as it is, I really do believe that this world is a beautiful place, and it's even more beautiful because you are in it. Keep being the beautiful souls you are.

6. What is your first thought in the morning?
How much time do I have to get coffee?

7. Favorite song?
Right now... "Life in Color" by OneRepublic.

8. Favorite snack?
Reeses and Pringles.

9. Favorite season and why?
Fall because I love the colors, I really like wearing sweaters, and I love wearing scarves.

10. A daily resolution?
Take each moment as it comes. Live in the moment, and be present in the moment.

 11. What do you think about Everyday Selene?
It's so lovely! I love the layout, and the perspective is so neat. :) Keep it up, lovely!
