Happy 100! Here's to 100 More!

Tuesday, December 9, 2014

You are currently reading my 100th blog post! I'm actually really excited about this one. :) 100 is a lot of posts if you think about it. It's like when you're running long distance... the first mile or so is the worst. It's the hardest. But once you make it, you start to feel better, you start to get more into the pace, and then you really start to rock it!

So here it is. My 100th post! I just wanted to take the time when writing this too look back at my blog, and see where it's come from, where it is, and hopefully take some time to reflect on where it's going. A mini-blogging tour, if you will. :)

And of course, my all time favorite post: http://lavieenzoe.blogspot.fr/2014/09/we-must-lose-our-fear-of-being-wrong.html

In the coming months, weeks, years (hopefully!), I really want to grow this space into a beautiful, simple, inspirational little corner of the web. It's not a very big corner, and I'm not sure I want it to be, but it's my corner. Truly something that I have control over, and I love that.

Doing what I do best, here are my goals for my blog moving forward!

1. Improve photo editing skills.
I usually just use Canva or Pic Monkey to edit my photos and to make pinnable images, but I am starting to use Photoshop more on some of my photos. Good graphics make for good blogs!

2. Tell other people's stories more.

One of my favorite things in the whole wide world is stories. I love stories: Hearing stories, making stories up, telling stories, the whole shebang. I really want this blog to be a place to share stories, and I am great at sharing my own, but I want to share others' more. I want to do some blogger interviews, as well as interviews/story sharing of some people that I find inspirational.

3. Re-brand!

Yep, I really want to re-brand my blog. As much as I love the name, it's in French and not very many people actually know how to pronounce it. I've also changed a lot since I started this blog, and my goals for this blog have changed as well. I really want to simplify, so I figure that re-designing my blog is one way to do that!

4. The Fountain Pen Society
So, you know how on Monday I said that I wanted to announce my big new project? Well it's here! My friends in France and I decided to make a blog called The Fountain Pen Society, and it went live yesterday! Read all about it on the blog. If you're intrigued, it's like an awesome-r version of a blog-land book club/fountain pen enthusiast/friendship community!

What are the goals you have for your blog?
