Back at It: Weekly Wishes // Make it Happen Monday #18

Monday, December 1, 2014

I've been feeling really uninspired lately.

There, I said it.

I don't know what my problem is, I just can't find the words to match my feelings. Instead, I've been journaling and doodling a lot. But maybe if I post something, it will help break the cold snap/writer's block/uninspired-crap that I've been feeling.

Why have I been feeling uninspired? It's probably a mix of reasons. I've been feeling super homesick, November was my busiest traveling month, and traveling is exhausting. Even though my language speaking and comprehension has improved so much during my time abroad, it still takes a lot of energy to translate between French and English in my head all day.

So, I'm sorry to my readers, and I'm also sorry to myself, because blogging is a good creative release and I know that, so I'm going to try and get back into it.

Without further ado, my weekly wishes for this week and monthly wishes for December!

This Week:

1. Write and publish a post about Strasbourg.
To culminate my Month of Travel that was November, I want to write about Strasbourg, the capitol of Christmas and basically the coolest place in France.

2. Edit photos and choose which photos to print once I get back to Colorado.

So many photos, so little time. I'm definitely planning a post of my favorite photos!

3. Book my train to Paris for my return voyage. Find a hotel near Charles de Gaulle.

So I'm heading home right around Christmas, which is when everyone is heading to the airport. Should probably start planning now.

1. Ace my finals!
Finally got the schedule. I have 7 finals. They best consider themselves owned.

2. Wean myself off of coffee.

Drink more tea. A monumental task, but I know my attention span and wallet will thank me.

3. Enjoy this last month.

I can't believe it's already December, and I'm only three weeks away from leaving this place I've grown to love.

What are your goald for this week? For December?
