November Goals // Make it Happen Monday [Tuesday?]! #16

I usually write these Make it Happen Monday/Weekly Wishes posts on Sunday evening and schedule them to go live at 12:00 am Colorado time (8:00 am France time). However, this past Sunday I was on a boat in the middle of the English Channel when I would have normally written this post. So, my apologies for being MIA!

London was amazing, but more about that later. :)

October Goals: Revisited

1. Have some cool adventures!
I feel like this was most definitely accomplished. I went to Rouen, which was amazing, Bayeux where I saw the famous Bayeux Tapestry, had an emotional time visiting the D-Day Landing Beaches, and finally went to London! I'm planning on writing about London later in the week, so stay tuned for that!

2. Figure out all the ways to pronounce the letter "e" in French.
We'll see... I think so? 

3. Be nicer to myself.
Yes and no. It's a struggle. Some days, I'm really good, but some days it's hard to stay in a positive mindset. Although I am getting better at catching myself when I get negative, and reminding myself of the good

4. Dance more. 
I added this one later, and didn't really do it. 

November Goals

1. Dance more!
A couple of people have asked me what I mean by this... dance more? Like, actually dance? I mean it literally and figuratively. I want to dance more literally because it's fun, and haven't you ever felt like just busting a move on the bus? (If you say no... you're lying). But I also just want to be more lighthearted about things, and just be able to shake it off a la Taylor Swift. I take things, including myself, way to seriously. My goal to dance more is to have a dancing spirit, always moving and just letting myself be free. It sounds good. 

2. Take time to notice the little things. 
There are some really cool things that happen, and I usually just walk by without noticing. There may be a pretty flower, a gorgeous mural, or my pain au chocolat may be exceptionally beautiful (and/or delicious). Some days, I just feel good, happy, and light, and I want to savor those feelings. I just want to cherish the moments a bit more. 

3. WRITE. 
At the urging of my friend, I signed up to take part in National Novel Writing Month, also known as NaNoWriMo. It's only four days in, and I'm already not doing great. Even if I don't reach the 50,000 word mark, I still want to write a lot, and write just for me. Not my blog, not other blogs, just for me. :)
